What I
keep.

The short version

If you subscribe, I keep your email address. I count page views in a way that cannot identify you. There are no advertising cookies on this site, I do not sell anything about you, and nothing here follows you to other sites.

If you subscribe

I keep your email address and the date you gave it to me. I do not ask for your name. The address is stored by Kit, the platform I use to send the Rundown, and I use it to send you the Rundown. That is the only thing it is for.

You will get a confirmation email before anything else happens. If you ignore it, you are never added to the list.

The Rundown is sent by Kit. Some of those emails load Newsreader and Hanken Grotesk from Google Fonts, so opening one can send your IP address to Google. This site never does — the typefaces here are served from this origin.

When you visit

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, referrers, and country-level location. It is cookieless. It sets no identifier on your device, does not fingerprint it, and cannot recognise you on another site. That is why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Cloudflare also keeps ordinary server logs covering your IP address, browser, and the page you asked for, as part of hosting the site.

What your browser stores

One thing. If you switch between light and dark, that choice is saved in your browser under dadmade-theme. It never leaves your device and never reaches me. Clearing your browsing data removes it.

This site sets no cookies.

Who else is involved

• Kit holds your email address if you subscribe.
• Cloudflare hosts the site, counts the page views, and forwards mail sent to my address.

The Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, and Beli links in the footer are ordinary links. Nothing from those services is embedded in this page, so they learn nothing about you unless you click one.

What I don't do

• No advertising cookies, pixels, or third-party trackers.
• No selling, renting, or sharing your email address.
• No cross-site or cross-device tracking.
• No accounts, passwords, or payment details.
• This site is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Your choices

Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email. It takes effect immediately.

Deletion. Email hello@itsdadmade.com and I will take your address off the list. Use the same address for any question about this page.

Changes

If what this site does changes, this page and the date below change with it.
