Aperol Spritz

Prosecco, Aperol, and a splash of soda over ice. The spec here leans harder on the prosecco than the usual 3-2-1, which keeps it from tasting like orange candy.

An orange Aperol Spritz over ice in a wine glass, with bottles of prosecco and Aperol behind it

Method

  1. Fill a large wine glass with ice.

  2. Add the prosecco first, then the Aperol, then the soda. Pouring the Aperol in second lets it mix without stirring the bubbles out.

Notes from the line

For one glass, a part is an ounce: 3 oz. prosecco, 1½ oz. Aperol, ½ oz. soda.
