Salty Dog
Vodka and fresh grapefruit juice in a salt-rimmed glass. A Greyhound with a better idea, and the brunch drink for a hot day.
Method
Salt the rim of a rocks glass and fill it with ice.
Add the vodka and grapefruit juice and stir for 5 seconds.
Garnish with the lime wedge.
Notes from the line
Squeeze the grapefruit yourself. Bottled juice is too sweet, and the salt only works against real bitterness.
