A pale Crush over crushed ice in a tall glass with a basil leaf, against green leaves

Method

  1. Pierce three of the grapes with a knife tip so they release juice, and leave the fourth whole.

  2. Add the vodka, simple syrup, lemon juice, grapes, and basil to a shaker and shake without ice.

  3. Pour everything over a glass packed with crushed ice.

Notes from the line

The dry shake bruises the basil and opens the grapes. Crushed ice in the glass handles the chilling.
